We are trying to pull together building a
"real" snowboard park in the NWT. All that we have now is a gravel pit
with no equipment. We have a number of enthusiastic young male adults
willing to put in a significant amount of volunteer labour to make it
happen. We are anxious to get things going as our window for having the
ground thawed enough to drill for poles, etc is quite narrow. We thought we had a used tow rope lined up but that has fallen through. We are looking for ideas where we might be able to get our hands on a good used one either by donation of if need be to buy. We figure would need about 300 metres of rope. |
