What the Job is about:
RED Mountain Ventures are the owners and developers of RED Mountain Resort, a historic ski resort located in Rossland, British Columbia, with offices in Rossland BC, Canada and San Diego, CA .
RMV is seeking a well-rounded graphic Graphic Artist /Web Designer to work alongside our marketing team to bring the RED Mountain story to the web.
You will design and manage the graphic content of the websites for each of the Resort’s different divisions, from the mountain’s website, to reservations and real estate. You will also be responsible to create online advertising, as well as marketing materials and print collateral for us.
The position is a minimum of 35-40 hours a week, and year-round. Perks include free skiing at RED Mountain Resort. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of web design experience
* Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator
* Impressive portfolio
* Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Love skiing or snowboarding
* Strong jQuery experience
* WordPress development experience
* Good knowledge of PHP / MySQL (can you build a snow report app?)
Additional experience that would be great:
* Ability to manage and maintain a Linux-based webserver
* SEO / SEM / Social marketing experience
* Ability to create captivating content (photography, writing, etc.)
* HTML5 and CSS3 experience
