David Lynn - President & CEO

David Lynn joined CWSAA on April 4, 2011, after a 22-year career in the food & beverage industry.     Mr. Lynn previously worked at  Molson, Dairyland, Saputo and Sun-Rype in a broad range of functional areas, including general management, marketing, IT and finance.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing, Honours) and MBA (Finance) from the University of British Columbia. Dawn Sleiman - Executive Assistant

Dawn Sleiman joined CWSAA on November 1, 2011.   Ms. Sleiman previously worked in the Food & Beverage department at Whistler-Blackcomb between 1991 and 2007, most recently as Catering Sales Manager.    Dawn enjoys a variety of outdoor sports, including running and skiing.    Dawn works at the CWSAA Office in Kelowna and can be reached at 778-484-5535.

Cathy Graham - Accountant

Cathy Graham (CA) became a CWSAA employee on April 2, 2013 after working for the association under contract for four months.   Ms. Graham has a broad range of finance and accounting experience working on both an internal and external (audit) basis.  She has worked for a number of well known firms, including Canadian National Railway, Coopers Lybrand, Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche, Visa International, Resources Global Professionals and BDO Canada.    Ms. Graham holds a Bachelor of Administration Degree from Lakehead University and has achieved a number of accounting and management designations, including  Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).   Cathy works at the CWSAA Office and can be reached at 778-484-5535.

Anne Pigeon - Marketing (Contract)

Anne Pigeon was hired by CWSAA in May 2014 to provide project management services for various CWSAA marketing initiatives.   Anne has over 33 years of experience in the ski industry, spanning all aspects of resort management and operations.  She has worked within the Nelson Community and Kootenay Rockies region in promoting the area as a destination of choice for visitors from around the world.  Anne has extensive tourism related board experience, including Kootenay Rockies Tourism, Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism, Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce and the Tourism Industry of British Columbia.   Anne obtained her post-secondary education at John Abbot College and McGill University in Montreal.      Additional information on Ms. Pigeon is available at:

Blain Ford - Marketing (Contract)

Blain Ford began as a seasonal contractor for the ASIMC Go Ski Alberta Marketing Campaign in December of 2009. He has traveled to 28 ski areas in Alberta, providing marketing guidance to each resort and gathering information and content for past initiatives. Go Ski Alberta has continued to grow into a large scale campaign with a fully developed website and respectable social media following. Blain holds a Bachelor of Business & Entrepreneurship (Sport & Recreation) from Mount Royal University in Calgary and has been an avid skier/snowboarder for over 10 years.
