To actively support and promote the Goals and Objectives of Canada West Ski Areas Association as set forth.
To pay promptly membership dues, insurance premiums and any and all other fees and costs legitimately assessed by the Association.
To support and honour the CSA Racer Pass Program established by CWSAA in conjunction with the Canadian Ski Association. It is a requirement of membership that all Members with lifts with skiing honour the pass.
It is mandatory for continued membership in CWSAA for all Member Areas to report the following minimum area information, when requested by the Association's surveys, to establish the size and growth of the industry:
- Number of employees, full-time and part-time, including franchised or concession operations;
- Skier visits, including season pass usage;
- Number and type of all lifts with length, vertical and capacity.
- Number of skiable acres in the area.
To comply with regulations set forth by Government agencies concerned with the ski industry as may be recommended by CWSAA.
To be actively engaged in operating, building or planning a ski area. Any Member Area not actively operating for a period of one year may be subject for review by the Board of Directors.
